What We Do
Veterinary America partners with veterinary clinics to identify learning and career opportunities for Veterinary professionals outside the United States.
Mission
Our mission is to create opportunities for international veterinary professionals to acclimate and contribute to the US veterinary industry through education programs. We envision a fully functioning clinical space where real cases are utilized to develop and stimulate the growth of the veterinary medical workforce.
Our mission is to provide the following:
- Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) training program with the goal of having candidates sit for the Clinical Proficiency (CP) exam.
- Training students in order to prepare them to be accepted into a Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE) in an existing accredited institution. North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) support for students interested in this program.
- Sabbatical/special interest training programs for students pursuing specialties in the veterinary field such as internal medicine, hospital operations and management, imaging, and dentistry including maxillofacial surgery.
